Keep your dog safe in the car
In a 35mph car accident, your 60 lbs dog becomes a 2700 lbs wrecking ball. The Canyon is one of the only harnesses ensuring both your and your dog's safety in such eventuality.
Pulling assist
The Extended lets you attach the leash at the very back so your dog can pull you up on trails. That's not all, it also features a back D-ring, a front D-ring and a belly loop for long lines.

Converts into the Core harness
Simply remove the extention (second row of straps) from your Canyon Extended and you end up with the Core harness in less than a minute.

It's very simple. You simply need to pass the car seat belt through the harness and buckle it in the seat belt socket. Check out this short video.
Most likely yes. After testing the harness on more than 25 different breeds and shapes, we can say that the Canyon harness fits very well. But just to confirm, go to our sizing corner.
Not directly. It's hard to see on the pictures, but there is a webbing flap between the side buckles and your dog's skin.
Not on the harness. Velcro doesn't meet our standard for durability... But we get it, you need to attach your patches somewhere! That's why we came up with Velcro Sleeves that are compatible with the Extended harness. You can add or remove as you please. Check them out here.
Well, this Seat Belt Lock is designed to prevent the car seat belt from retracting back into the mechanism when your dog is secured in the car. A video about using the Seat Belt Lock is coming soon.
Basically, the two harnesses are very similar, but the Pro features all aluminum hardware, it is crash-tested to keep your dog safe in the car and it is heavier than the light.

I’m an original purchaser from when this company was a start up.
I have multiple items from this company and all are top notch.
I had one issue with a buckle failure and they couldn’t have responded faster or resolved it better.
My daughter has their products after seeing the quality in the products I have and I have recommended this company’s products to multiple work companions who have also witches from them.
If I had one complaint it would be that this past canyon pro I purchased was my third choice for color. They struggle with in stocks and having available color options.
Possible need a stronger supply procurement manager that understands oversees manufacturing.

Takoda appreciates the new buckle on the neck as pulling The harness over his head with all of that fluff was always quite a struggle!
The rugged design stands up well to daily use and all of the attachment points come in handy for all of the "DO NOT PET" and other cards I need to put on him.
The new padding seems to make it easier for him to act as a counter- balance when I get a little unsteady and the open design helps him to stay cool!
I bought one for each of my dogs and one of each size to use for my dog training business.
