It's very simple. You simply need to pass the car seat belt through the harness and buckle it in the seat belt socket. Check out this short video.
Most likely yes. After testing the harness on more than 25 different breeds and shapes, we can say that the Canyon harness fits very well. But just to confirm, go to our sizing corner.
Not directly. It's hard to see on the pictures, but there is a webbing flap between the side buckles and your dog's skin.
Not on the harness. Velcro doesn't meet our standard for durability... But we get it, you need to attach your patches somewhere! That's why we came up with Velcro Sleeves that you can add or remove as you please. These are not compatible with the Core harness, you will need the Extended Light to use velcro sleeves.
Well, this Seat Belt Lock is designed to prevent the car seat belt from retracting back into the mechanism when your dog is secured in the car. A video about using the Seat Belt Lock is coming soon.
Basically, the two harnesses are very similar, but the Pro features all aluminum hardware, it is crash-tested to keep your dog safe in the car and it is heavier than the light.

I wasn't expecting to love the new harness as much as I do - I previously had the Ascension and the Canyon Pro blows the old harness out of the water. The fit is much better and slides around a lot less than our previous harness. I love the updates made to this harness; it feels like much thought and care went into this design. I can't wait to be able to update all of my kiddos harnesses to this one, and keeping my fingers crossed the teal makes a comeback eventually. 😉

This is our second Saker Harness after purchasing the Ascension for our other dog (which we also love!). The quality is excellent, love the heavy duty buckles (which feel light) and the addition of the buckle so we don’t have to pass the harness over our dogs head. First, this harness isnt your standard harness. This is an investment for your dogs, their safety and comfortability. Saker has phenomenal customer service. When I was having trouble with adjusting the straps they went above and beyond to walk me through the process. Now my huskies are not only safe in the car but they have the perfect harness for hiking, and even store trips. The material is beautiful. You can really see the quality that goes into these harnesses. I absolutely love this brand and will definitely be a returning customer! My dogs wear these almost daily! The back strap/handle has been handy for putting their do not pet patches, and the front clip has been great for their id tags! Not exactly the intended use, but it does show that these harnesses have a lot of versatility lol
