Social & Partnerships Specialist

A quiet revolution in dog equipment needs someone to spread the word.

Location: Saint-Sauveur | Hybrid
Type: Full-time
Salary: Competitive
To apply: Details at the bottom of the page

We build dog gear to the same standard as the equipment we trust in the mountains: technical, durable, and designed with intention. Our social presence should reflect the same discipline.

We're looking for someone to own our content strategy and our community, and grow from there into managing our influencer partnerships and press relationships.

If you can build a content calendar with a clear point of view, keep our community feeling heard, and want to grow into managing creator partnerships and press along the way, keep reading.

What you'll own

As our Social & Partnerships Specialist, the core of the role is:

Content planning and calendar management
Building, maintaining, and executing a clear content calendar across Instagram and TikTok. Knowing what goes live, when, and why, and making sure the plan reflects what the brand needs to say next. This includes flagging what social needs before a shoot, specific clips, angles, or moments, and getting that on our Creative Lead's radar early enough to shape the plan.

Community and DM management
Handling inbound messages, comments, and conversations with speed and care. Every reply reflects the brand. Every interaction builds trust.

Performance awareness
Tracking what works, what doesn't, and adjusting. You don't need to be a data analyst, but you need to know your numbers and use them to make better decisions.

As you settle in, you'll grow into:

Influencer and creator partnerships
This isn't cold outreach from zero. Creators, some with audiences in the hundreds of thousands, already come to us wanting to work with Säker. You'll manage that pipeline: vetting fit, negotiating terms, and turning interest into content worth reposting.

• PR and media relations
Building relationships with editors, journalists, and outlets in the outdoor and pet space over time. Pitching Säker stories, securing product placements and reviews, and coordinating press samples as opportunities come up.

How you’ll work

You move between planning and doing without friction. Monday might be locking next week's content calendar and clearing out DMs. As partnerships grow, some weeks you're negotiating with a creator or following up with a journalist too.

You'll report directly to our Creative Lead, who directs shoots on set. Strategy is a team sport: you'll brainstorm content, partnerships, and PR together with our founder and Creative Lead, then own running with it.

Your focus starts with content strategy and community, and expands into creators and press as you grow into the role. It's a real seat at the table, not a support function.

Your days will include:

  • Planning and scheduling posts, Stories, and Reels with intention, not filler
  • Managing DMs and comments with a tone that's warm, direct, and on-brand
  • Flagging the specific videos and clips social needs from upcoming shoots to our Creative Lead
  • Keeping the content calendar organized, visible, and up to date
  • Monitoring performance and adjusting the approach based on what you learn
  • Building and maintaining influencer relationships from outreach to delivery
  • Identifying and pursuing PR opportunities: press features, gift guides, product reviews, editorial mentions
  • Coordinating press and influencer product seeding, including samples and follow-up
  • Staying sharp on platform changes and formats worth testing

What success looks like

The feed feels like one voice, even when other hands are behind the camera. The calendar never falls behind. People reply to Stories. Creators want to work with us before we reach out.

Success in this role means:

  • A content calendar that runs weeks ahead, not days behind, with social's needs already flagged before the next shoot
  • Posts that feel intentional, not rushed or recycled
  • A growing, engaged community that trusts the brand and talks back
  • DMs and comments handled quickly and consistently, with real personality
  • As partnerships grow: influencer collaborations that produce content worth reposting, not just fulfilling a contract
  • Press coverage and product placements that build credibility beyond our existing audience
  • A social and PR presence that makes people take the brand seriously before they ever visit the site

Who you are

You're part strategist, part relationship-builder, part storyteller. You understand that social media and PR are not just posting and pitching. It's building a world people want to be part of, and getting others to tell that story for us.

You're organized. You can think of content that stops a scroll.

You might be a fit if:

  • You've managed social channels for a brand (not just personal accounts) and can show results
  • You're fluent in both English and French, spoken and written
  • You understand Instagram and TikTok as distinct platforms with different audiences and formats.
  • You know how to turn a content need into a clear, simple ask that a creative partner can act on.
  • You're organized, self-directed, and reliable with deadlines
  • You have a feel for what makes content shareable and what makes a story worth covering, without resorting to gimmicks.
  • You're comfortable growing into influencer management and PR, even if you haven't owned either function before.

Location & work style

This role is hybrid, based around our office in Saint-Sauveur. In-person time is expected for calendar planning sessions and creator/influencer meetings with our founder and Creative Lead; the rest of the work, including day-to-day community management and press outreach, can be done remotely.

What we offer

  • Full ownership of social strategy, influencer partnerships, and PR
  • A fast feedback loop with the founder and creative team, not layers of approval
  • High standards, low politics, clear direction, and room to experiment
  • A brand with a real point of view, not another pet company chasing cute
  • Competitive compensation and room to grow as the brand scales
  • The chance to shape a social and PR presence from the ground up

If you want to build something you're proud of, and see your work reach people who actually care, you'll like it here.
