About the company

Säker was founded in 2018 in Saint-Donat, Canada, by Chris, out of frustration with the gap between the high-performance gear outdoor enthusiasts rely on—and the flimsy webbing their dogs were wearing. It seemed like no brand was putting real effort into designing or testing their gear. Even today, most just copy what’s already out there and slap on a meaningless logo.

From the start, our goal was to disrupt the dog gear industry by demanding more: more function, more durability, and more respect for the role dogs play in our lives.

We are innovators. We push dog gear forward while others play catch-up. The Säker logo means something—it means you care about your dog and want the best for them. We don’t take that trust lightly. Every product we make is built to earn it.

Säker now operates out of headquarters located in Piedmont, Québec.
