Graphic Designer

Shape how the world sees life outside with their dogs.

Most dog brands look like dog brands: soft, cute, forgettable. Säker doesn't. We build gear to the standard of outdoor performance brands like Arc'teryx and Patagonia, and everything visual around it needs to hold that same line.

That means you won't be polishing product shots on a white background or dressing up stock photography. You'll be cutting assets from real campaign film, shot on location, with real athletes and real dogs. The kind of raw material most designers in this industry never get handed.

We're looking for someone who can take that material and apply it cleanly across a dozen touchpoints. Web, email, paid, packaging, all of it, without losing the thread. Someone who understands restraint, who knows when a design is done, and who doesn't reach for trends to make something feel finished.

If that sounds like the kind of problem you want to solve, keep reading.

What you'll own

  • Web and product page design
Designing and refining product pages, landing pages, and homepage sections on Shopify. Layouts that are clear, premium, and built to convert without looking like they're trying to.
  • Email design
Building templates and one-off designs for Klaviyo campaigns and flows. Visual hierarchy that makes technical products feel simple to understand.
  • Paid ad creative
Static and carousel creative for Meta and Google campaigns, built from our own campaign photography and film. Designs that stop a scroll without relying on hype or urgency.
  • Packaging and print
Packaging design, inserts and hang tags. And sometimes cool side quests.
  • Social and campaign assets
Supporting graphics for campaign launches, working alongside the Creative Lead and eventually, the Social & Partnerships Specialist to keep visual language consistent across every channel.

How you’ll work

You'll report to the Head of Marketing. Briefs come from the Head of Marketing, with direct input from the founder on brand-level decisions.

Turnaround varies by project. Ad creative and social assets move fast, often same-day. Packaging and web work move slower and get more rounds of review.

You'll work primarily in Adobe, with briefs and feedback tracked in ClickUp.

What success looks like

Work goes out the door without needing three rounds of revision. Product pages and ads perform, and they still look like Säker a year from now. Other people on the team can point to your work as the reference for what "on brand" means.

Your visuals carry a presence: bold, innovative, unapologetic. Design that makes a statement instead of blending in, matching the standard the products already set.

What we are looking for

  • 3 to 5 years of design experience, ideally with e-commerce or DTC brands
  • A portfolio that shows range: web, email, packaging, and ad creative, not just one lane
  • Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • An eye for restraint. You know what to leave out
  • Comfortable working from a brand system, not just personal style
  • Bilingual (English and French)

Bonus points:

  • Experience designing for outdoor, technical, or performance brands
  • Basic motion or video editing skills
  • Packaging or print production experience

What we offer

  • Full ownership of the brand's visual language across web, email, ads, and packaging
  • A library of real photography and film shot on location, not stock images or clinical product shots
  • A fast feedback loop with the Creative Lead and founder, not layers of approval
  • High standards, low politics, clear direction, and room to experiment
  • A brand with a real point of view, not another pet company chasing cute
  • Competitive compensation and room to grow as the brand scales
  • The chance to shape how a growing outdoor brand looks, from the ground up

If you want to build something you're proud of, and see your work reach people who actually care, you'll like it here.

Location & work style

This role is based in Saint-Sauveur, onsite. Compensation is competitive and based on experience.
