Role: Social Specialist
Location: Saint-Sauveur
Type: Full-time
Salary: Competitive
To apply: Details at the bottom of the page
We build dog gear to the same standard as the equipment we trust in the mountains: technical, durable, and designed with intention. Our social channels should reflect the same discipline.
We're looking for someone who can own our social presence from strategy to execution. Calendar-driven. Visually sharp. Comfortable moving between community conversations, influencer partnerships, and content creation without losing the thread.
If you can plan a month of content, film a TikTok, reply to a DM with the right tone, and keep everything running on schedule, keep reading.
What you’ll lead
As our Social Specialist, you will own:
• Content planning and calendar management
Building, maintaining, and executing a clear content calendar across Instagram and TikTok. Knowing what goes live, when, and why.
• Instagram (Posts, Stories, Reels)
Planning and publishing content that earns attention without chasing trends. Maintaining visual and tonal consistency across formats.
• TikTok content creation
Filming, editing, and posting short-form video that connects with dog owners who care about real equipment, not pet accessories. Comfortable being behind the camera, and in front of it if needed.
• Community and DM management
Handling inbound messages, comments, and conversations with speed and care. Every reply reflects the brand. Every interaction builds trust.
• Influencer and creator partnerships
Identifying, reaching out to, and managing relationships with creators and ambassadors who align with the Säker standard. Coordinating product seeding.
• Performance awareness
Tracking what works, what doesn't, and adjusting. You don't need to be a data analyst, but you need to know your numbers and use them to make better decisions.
How you’ll work
You move between planning and doing without friction. Monday might be scheduling a full week of content. Tuesday you're briefing an influencer, replying to DMs, and adjusting the calendar based on what's performing.
You'll collaborate directly with our founder and our creative lead. You'll have a clear voice to protect and enough freedom to push it forward.
Your days will include:
• Planning and scheduling posts, Stories, and Reels with intention, not filler
• Filming and editing short-form video content for TikTok
• Managing DMs and comments with a tone that's warm, direct, and on-brand
• Building and maintaining influencer relationships from outreach to delivery
• Keeping the content calendar organized, visible, and up to date
• Monitoring performance and adjusting the approach based on what you learn
• Staying sharp on platform changes, formats, and opportunities worth testing
• Listening to podcasts and following social experts to stay ahead of algorithm updates and shifting best practices.
What success looks like
The feed feels like one voice. The calendar never falls behind. People reply to Stories. Creators want to work with us before we reach out.
Success in this role means:
- A content calendar that runs weeks ahead, not days behind
- Posts that feel intentional, not rushed or recycled
- A growing, engaged community that trusts the brand and talks back
- DMs and comments handled quickly and consistently, with real personality
- Influencer partnerships that produce content worth reposting, not just fulfilling a contract
- TikTok content that earns organic reach because it's worth watching, not because it follows a template
- Organic reach that grows consistently because the content earns it
- On-brand concepts that break beyond our existing followers and put Säker in front of new audiences
- A social presence that makes people take the brand seriously before they ever visit the site.
Who you are
You're part strategist, part creator, part community manager. You understand that social media is not just posting. It's building a world people want to be part of.
You're organized without being rigid. You have taste. You can write a caption that sounds like a person, not a brand deck. You know the difference between content that performs and content that matters, and you aim for both.
You might be a fit if:
• You've managed social channels for a brand (not just personal accounts) and can show results.
• You can plan, shoot, and edit short-form video without a production team.
• You understand Instagram and TikTok as distinct platforms with different audiences and formats.
• You write well, quickly, and with a consistent voice.
• You've worked with influencers or creators and know how to manage those relationships professionally.
• You're organized, self-directed, and reliable with deadlines.
• You have a feel for what makes content shareable without resorting to gimmicks.
Bonus points if you have experience in outdoor, sport, or premium DTC brands.
