Overview

Adjustable Size
The Ascension Pouches System can adjust between a big and smaller setting to always meet the needs of your next adventure.

Hard to escape
Your dog might be a little Houdini, but the Ascension is about to end it. Once you put the extension onto the Core Harness, the Ascension becomes very hard for any escape artist to back out of.

Modular design
At anytime, you can add parts to the core harness to make it an extended harness or a dog pack. That means you only need one harness. It also means your dog can get used to only 1 fit.

Crash-tested (live)
We are working with the Center for Pet Safety to have the Ascension certified as a crash-tested harness. Through the static phase, the harness could support a load of 1907lbf, but we expect the final load to be higher than that.

Rainbow Reflective
At night, we got your dog covered. All parts of the harness feature our Rainbow Reflective™ material to ensure your dog is visible

No chafing or irritation
Thanks to its unique belly adjuster, the Ascension is one of the few harnesses that doesn't cause irritation in your dog's armpit region. Adjust the belly adjuster so that the first row of webbing is further back on your dog's belly.

Aerospace material, no plastic
Most of the hardware on the Ascension harness is made of aluminum 6061. For example, the side buckles can withstand a tension of 420kg, yet they weight only 37 grams each. That means one buckle can withstand 11,351 times its weight... It's not your everyday buckle!

Love the water
The Ascension is the first harness that features welded pads. That means the pads are airtight and no water can get in there. You don't have to worry about the harness smelling like wet dog!
People are asking
Will it fit my dog?
Most likely yes. After testing the harness on more than 25 different breeds and shapes, we can say that the Ascension harness fits very well. But just to confirm, go enter your dog's measures here.
What's the most underrated feature of the Ascension?
Definitely the side buckles. There's something so satisfying when you clip'em. Plus, each buckle can resist over 420kgf while weighting only 37 grams.
How big are the pouches?
In their bigger settings, the pouches on the M-L and the XL-XXL fit 6 Liters each. For the small pouches, we have yet to determine the volume that fit inside the pouches, but it's about 4.2 Liters.
What's the maximum weight to which it is crash-tested?
Right now, we went for the certification for 110 lbs dogs for the M-L and the XL-XXL. While the small will be rated for dogs up to 45lbs. But stay tuned for the official data once the tests are done.
Will the waterproof material cause my dog to overheat?
Good question! We investigated this topic as it was a concern for us. We are proud to say that the harness is better than its competitors at dissipating heat. Read the full blog here.
Is any of the hardware touching the dog's skin?
Not directly. It's hard to see on the pictures, but there is a webbing flap between the side buckles and your dog's skin. For the carabiners between the Extension and the Core Harness, they are elevated by the pad thickness so that they don't touch your dog's skin either.
Is it easy to clean?
Yes. Because the pads are airtight, you don't have to worry about water getting in there. Simply handwash the webbing with mild detergent and let it air dry.
Are there velcro on the harness for my Service Dog Patches?
Not on the harness. Velcro doesn't meet our standard for durability... But we get it, you need to attach your patches somewhere! That's why we came up with Velcro Sleeves that you can add or remove as you please. Check them out here.
Is the Ascension guaranteed?
Yes! The Ascension harness is guaranteed against all defects in craftsmanship for the lifetime of the product. Which in this case is 10 years. Read more about the Got Your Bark Guarantee.
